Studio Sung Tieu sucht eine engagierte Person für ein freiwilliges Vollzeitpraktikum als Studio Assistant im Zeitraum von 15. Februar bis 15. Mai 2026 (3 Monate).
Das Praktikum ist lernorientiert und bietet Einblicke in die administrativen, organisatorischen und logistischen Prozesse rund um den Deutschen Pavillon bei der 61. Biennale di Venezia.

AUFGABEN

- Unterstützung der Studioleitung und der täglichen Studioorganisation
- Mitarbeit bei Budgetübersichten, Kostenkontrolle und Rechnungsablage
- Pflege von Kontakt-, Projekt- und Archivdatenbanken
- Unterstützung bei Kunstproduktionen, Transporten und Versand
- Kommunikation mit Dienstleisterinnen, Institutionen und Projektpartnerinnen
- Logistische Unterstützung der Biennale-Produktion

LERNMÖGLICHKEITEN

- Einblicke in Produktions- und Organisationsprozesse internationaler Ausstellungen
- Grundlagen administrativer Abläufe im Kunstbetrieb
- Erfahrung mit Logistik, Transport und Zeitplanung von Kunstwerken
- Mitarbeit an Archivierung, Dokumentation und Datenpflege
- Arbeit mit digitalen Tools und Datenbanksystemen
- Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Institutionen und Teams

PROFIL

- Abgeschlossenes oder laufendes Studium, Bachelor- oder Master, in Kuratieren, Kulturadministration, Kulturmanagement, Kulturwissenschaften oder in Administration / Business / Betriebsorganisation
- Interesse an zeitgenössischer Kunst
- Pünktlichkeit, Zuverlässigkeit, strukturierte, sorgfältige und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
- Sicherer Umgang mit digitalen Tools (Word, Excel etc.); Artlogic von Vorteil
- Sprachen: Deutsch und Englisch erforderlich, Italienisch von Vorteil

Studio Sung Tieu & German Pavilion

Studio Sung Tieu is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time voluntary internship as Studio Assistant from 15 February to 15 May 2026 (3 months).
The internship is learning-oriented and offers insight into the administrative, organizational, and logistical processes of the German Pavilion at the 61. Biennale di Venezia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support of studio management and daily studio operations
- Assistance with budget overviews, cost monitoring, and invoice filing
- Maintenance of contact, project, and archive databases
- Support of art production, transport, and shipping
- Coordination with suppliers, institutions, and project partners
- Logistical support for the Biennale project

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

- Insight into production and organizational processes of international exhibitions
- Introduction to administrative workflows in the art field
- Experience with logistics, transport, and scheduling of artworks
- Participation in archiving and documentation processes
- Hands-on work with digital tools and database systems
- Collaboration with international institutions and teams

PROFILE

- Completed or ongoing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Curatorial Studies, Cultural Administration, Cultural Management, Cultural Studies, or in Administration / Business / Business Organization
- Strong interest in contemporary art
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a structured, careful, and independent manner
- Confidence with digital tools (Word, Excel etc.); Artlogic experience is a plus
- Languages: German and English required, Italian a plus
