Die Galerie Jan Kaps in Köln sucht eine Registrar*in (m/w/d) für eine unbefristete Vollzeitstelle.

Jan Kaps vertritt seit über zehn Jahren international beachtete Künstler*innen. Das stetig wachsende Galerieprogramm umfasst derzeit 14 Künstler*innen, darunter einen Künstlernachlass. Die Galerie organisiert Wechselausstellungen an ihrem Hauptstandort in Köln und kooperiert mit internationalen Partnern. Darüber hinaus nimmt Jan Kaps jährlich an internationalen Kunstmessen teil, darunter die Art Basel in Hongkong, Basel und Miami.

WAS SIE ERWARTET

- Organisation von internationalen Kunsttransporten inkl. Zollabfertigung
- Kommunikation mit Künstler*innen und Kund*innen
- Pflege und Verwaltung von Datenbanken
- Leihverkehr, inkl. Verträge
- Planung des Auf- und Abbaus von Ausstellungen und Messen
- Entgegennahme und Lagerung von Lieferungen
- Koordination der Techniker und Verwaltung des Kunstlagers

WAS SIE MITBRINGEN

- Interesse an zeitgenössischer Kunst
- Arbeitserfahrung als Registrar*in oder Logistiker*in
- Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache
- Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Sorgfalt im Umgang mit Kunstwerken
- IT-Kenntnisse (Mac OS X, MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud etc.), Erfahrung mit Datenbanken
- Freundliches und sicheres Auftreten
- Engagement, Flexibilität und selbständige Arbeitsweise
- die Fähigkeit, Prioritäten zu setzen und Fristen einzuhalten

Galerie Jan Kaps in Cologne is looking for a full-time registrar (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

Jan Kaps has been representing internationally renowned artists for over ten years. The steadily growing gallery program currently includes 14 artists and an artist’s estate. The gallery organizes temporary exhibitions at its main location in Cologne and collaborates with international partners. Jan Kaps also participates in international art fairs every year, including Art Basel in Hong Kong, Basel and Miami.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

- Organization of international art shipments including customs clearance
- Communication with artists and clients
- Maintenance and management of databases
- Loan transactions, including contracts
- Planning the set-up and dismantling of exhibitions and fairs
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Coordinating technicians and managing the art warehouse
