Internship at SETAREH Berlin (Pflichtpraktika)

SETAREH specializes in exhibitions of contemporary art. We work to present a dynamic exhibition program and represent artists to actively further their projects by participating in the larger contemporary art dialogue with partners around the world.

For our gallery in Berlin, we are looking for a mandatory intern with immediate effect. This is a part-time position. The mandatory internship will be assigned to two areas of gallery work, one technical and one curatorial.

For the technical position, we are looking for support in exhibition preparation, facilities maintenance, media support and event production. The internship offers an ideal introduction to the workings of an internationally active gallery. Experience with light construction and art handling is beneficial, interest in new media essential.

The second internship is also a compulsory internship within the framework of studies and ideal for students of art history, cultural management, curatorial practice. Please share a writing sample and your instagram.

Both positions are freelance and are not remunerated. We continue to expand our team and are also accepting applications for future periods.

Duration: 3 months

Areas of Activity:
Position 1: General support in day-to-day operations, primarily in physical properties, event production and exhibition maintenance.

Position 2: General day-to-day support, primarily in database maintenance, exhibition support including preparation and research, and artist support.
