Project Manager - Architecture / Design
Studio Julian Charrière is searching for an experienced candidate as a long-term addition to our architecture and design team. The candidate will work alongside the studio’s head architect on a variety of projects, including artwork visualization, development and implementation, exhibition designs, “Percent for art” competitions, project-specific research, and general project management. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working on the scale of interior design and installation design, as well as in fabrication. Candidates must be highly motivated, independent-thinking problem solvers and feel comfortable in fast-paced working environments. The job is specifically directed to someone who is comfortable with project management: planning, supervising, and executing projects, ensuring their effective and timely completion, and making sure the project stays within the budget available. The candidate should be able to coordinate the execution of projects within the internal production team, as well as external fabricators, and maintain prompt communication with museums, galleries, and institutions on design-related tasks.
About the artist:
Julian Charrière is a French-Swiss artist based in Berlin, exploring ideas of nature and materiality through the lens of deep geological time. His work spans multiple media and often emerges from field research in remote, geophysically distinct areas like volcanoes, ice fields, and radioactive sites. Charrière’s collaborations with scientists, engineers, and philosophers produce works that critically address ecological concerns and challenge how we perceive and engage with the natural world. His work has been exhibited internationally in prestigious institutions.

• Experience in creating reports and project documentation
• Ability to manage multiple projects with different time horizons, set priorities, and make

• Fluency in German and English; Italian is a plus
• A driving license is a strong advantage
