Internship Overview:
As an Art Gallery Intern, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the gallery. Under the guidance of our experienced team, you will assist in curating exhibitions, managing art installations, organizing events, and providing excellent customer service to our visitors. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to immerse themselves in the art industry and gain invaluable skills in gallery management.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the curatorial team to assist in the planning and execution of exhibitions.
Help with the preparation and installation of artworks for display.
Engage with visitors, providing information about artists and artworks on display.
Assist with promotional efforts, including social media content creation and marketing campaigns.
Support the coordination of art events, workshops, and artist talks.
Aid in the maintenance and organization of the gallery space.

Qualifications:

A genuine passion for art, with an interest in contemporary.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing concepts.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends during events.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant degree program (e.g., Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Management, or a related field).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Apple OS, Adobe Crreative Suite and comfortable working with digital tools.
Previous experience in a gallery or arts-related setting is a plus but not required.
Good German and English skills are required.

Duration and Compensation:

This internship will be offered for a minimum of six month, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability. The internship is paid.
