Programme Assistant

Working with artists to realise the integration of a ‘Wellbeing Culture’ within urban design, it is a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together an international network of leading figures from diverse fields to address the most urgent aspects of human life. Led by a deep engagement with the natural environment, Therme Art combines the interests of the latest scientific findings in human health, with the needs of urban design and culture.

Outline of Duties:
To help achieve this, we are now seeking to work with a talented Programme Assistant who will work together with the Head of Programming and the Operations Manager to support Therme Art programme daily operations. The role will be based at the Therme Art office at Erkelenzdamm 5, Berlin, with the possibility of working remotely.

• Support Therme Art programme operations
• Manage logistics and carry out administrative tasks as needed
• Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure the successful documentation and communication of Therme Art programme
• Processing payments for vendors and suppliers
• Attending staff meetings and taking minutes
• Maintaining office calendars and sending out reminders of impending appointments
• Drafting letters and reports as may be required from time to time
• Proofreading documents
• Assisting in the planning of travel and events coordination
• Assisting in planning and makings reservations for various off-site business meetings and Therme Art events
• Assisting in managing budgets for operations and Therme Art programme events
• Reserving equipment and conference rooms for presentations and in-office meetings
• Report to Therme Art management about the status of tasks on a daily basis
• Represent Therme Art through professional communication and management


The Programme Assistant will possess an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency and the ability to work to tight deadlines. They will have a deep interest in culture and technology. They will also hold:
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably art and culture related
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on attitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships, and a natural ability to work in teams
• Fluent English; German is a plus
