Studio Manager - Full Time

Studio manager needed for a small but international artist studio: We are looking for an experienced and easy-going individual to manage the large organisation. Acting as the interface between the studio and the world, the manager should have a strong sense of responsibility and creativity befitting the unique working environment.
Beyond the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize within a fast-paced environment. Given the demanding production schedule and diverse nature of the work produced, the candidate must be relaxed, flexible and decisive under pressure.

− Coordinate artwork production and maintenance, working directly with designers and fabricators
− Maintain the studio’s press, image, and project archive, both physical and digital, including backups
− Manage the studio’s day-to-day and upcoming exhibitions calendar; keep track of all upcoming deadlines; manage the artist’s schedule and travel
− Oversee all studio systems, including shared hard drives, server and internet accounts
− Edition and publication coordination.

− A degree in arts and/or society-related discipline
− Knowledge of and interest in art and the contemporary Berlin art world
− Fluency with Macintosh platforms and software including Mail, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
− Impeccable written skills and intuition for appropriate register and tone in communications
