Client Manager and Researcher

The Art Loss Register is the world’s largest private database of lost and stolen art. Its range of services include the registration of losses and recovery services for the victims of theft and looting. and due diligence searching for the art trade. We are currently looking for a client manager and researcher and to join our team in London. The role includes management duties related to European clients, such as German speaking auction houses and dealers, as well as work in due diligence and on research projects related to the dispossession of art and cultural objects due to Nazi persecution and WWII. Fluency in German is required, some experience in or knowledge of provenance research is helpful. A clear interest in building and strengthening relationships with clients is vital. Knowledge of a third language and office experience in a commercial art environment would be an advantage but are not essential. The position is a fixed term 12 months contract, to start as soon as possible. The salary will be between £22,000 and £24,000 p.a. subject to experience.
