Studio Management Assistant (Business/ Recruitment)


We are a large and dynamic interdisciplinary studio and look for a strong and experienced support for our administration team. The following describes some important elements of the position:

About the role

You will be providing support and concrete analysis of the financial situation of the studio through strategic financial planning and budget controlling.
• Challenge existing processes and practices to identify and deliver enhancements and improvement; Build innovative and efficient structure;
• Coordinating and assisting controlling;
• Monitoring and reporting expenses level against budgets;
• Perform regular analysis and report to the heads of departments;

Talent Acquisition
You will be managing the full cycle recruitment process, supporting the decision making and the needs of the studio.
• Defining profiles and recruiting strategies
• Searching, selecting and interviewing candidates
• Improving hiring process/interview processes
• Team administration

Office Administration
• General administrative assistance of the studio
• Travel administration and coordination together with our office manager

About You

You have successfully completed your studies and gained first experience of at least 3 years in strategic financial planning and human resources.
• Degree in Business Economics, Management or Human Resources is a must;
• Fluent in German and English;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with a focus on strategic financial planning and human resources;
• Strong analytical skills when it comes to advising management and departments of the studio;
• Flexibility and ability to find innovative solutions;
• Proactive, organized and detailed-oriented;
• Proficiency in German labor law and German tax law is a plus;

About Us

The Studio Tomás Saraceno is an ongoing research entity founded by the artist Tomás Saraceno and driven by his visions, informed by the worlds of art, architecture, natural sciences, astrophysics and engineering; his floating sculptures, community projects and interactive installations propose and explore new, sustainable ways of inhabiting and sensing the environment.
